The research scholars' day (RS Day) is an annual event celebrated by the MTech and PhD students of the Materials Science Programme.As part of the programme, the students showcase their research work through posters and presentations to the attendees, which helps in recognition, feedback, collaborations, etc. The purpose of the research scholar day is to promote research awareness among the new postgraduate students. Usually, most of our faculty members attend it, which promotes a strong student-faculty interaction.
Research Scholars’ Day is an annual event of Materials Science Programme where all the students from M.Tech. and Ph.D. showcase their research work via posters/ presentation. Research Scholars Day is scheduled to be held on 18th February at Venue ACMS Conference Room. On Research Scholars Day, we organize a poster session for the final year M.Tech students and talks delivered by the senior Ph.D. candidates on their ongoing research activities.
On March 12, 2016 Research Scholars’ Day was successfully organized at the venue LHC- 6, IIT Kanpur Campus. It started in the morning with an interesting keynote Lecture: - “Many Facets of Interdisciplinary in Materials Science” by Dr. Y. N. Mohapatra.
